I imagine this will be mostly sass.
And with everyone who is not Morgan, this will basically be him joking about how he's going to live forever.
“Dude...” Peter watches as numbers and symbols flicker and fade on the HUD screen, the very lines on his suit shifting and turning as it takes him through the new features.
The heat kicking on startles him into silence, painful stillness as he remembers the first time that happened and he tamps down the surge of emotion that follows.
“Thanks,” he croaks out. “She can, yeah, she’s-She’s amazing.”
Hey kid? A beat. I just want you know. I can't actually cry, since, well, I'm not him. But if I was? I'm willing to bet that he'd be happy to hear your voice too.
As for the heat, Tony doesn't turn it up too much, just enough for it to be cozy inside.
This is about as close I can get to giving you a hug without defibrillating you.
It feels like a hug, warm and gentle and so many unspoken words that it has Peter laughing wetly and wrapping his arms around his stomach. If he had known it would have been the only chance he'd get...
He would have hugged the man so much tighter.
"I can't believe he programed his allergy to emotions into you. That's so typical."
Peter tugs his mask up to his nose and swipes at it angrily.
I suppose I could try to leak some coolant into your suit. But I don't think you'll enjoy that very much.
[ He's trying, even if his attempts at humor aren't that good. ]
So. You want me to stick around? After this initial sequence, you are allowed to shut me down. Karen has the controls. In case, you know, you want space, or want to move on. I won't be offended.
But if you keep me around, I'll absorb the rest of the data he's left me. I imagine after that, I'll stop referring to him as a different person.
"Gross." Peter grimaces and is suddenly fiercely glad he's not actually wearing the whole suit, because AI or not, Peter wouldn't put it past Tony Stark to say that and then do it anyway just to prove he could. He almost wishes the AI would, because laughing somehow makes everything hurt worse.
"Can-Can I think about it?" Because if he was pressed to make that choice right then and there, he knows what he'd do, and he knows what May would say, or-
Or what Mrs. Stark might think. Peter can't think of anything worse than the idea of seeing pity in that woman's eyes.
Honestly, other than Morgan, TONI thinks BARF is one of his best creations. How else would you describe needing to re-live and re-visit your childhood trauma?
I don't see why it can't stand for both.

Peter snorts and reaches for his phone. He flips it around in his hands a few times and then swipes it on. The date still leaves him shaking. The faster he can swipe it away the less he has to think about it.
Peter ducks his head between his knees and slides his hands up the back of his mask. He never said anything. He should have. It's like Ben all over again. He knows he's close to losing it a second time and it's only the creeping anxiety over how TONI might answer that's keeping his body still and waiting.
