steve + peggy
Peggy and Steve's reunion when he returns to the past.
That dance scene. /sobs
Anything about their life afterward.
steve + tony
Conversations about Peggy or Howard, or anything else they'd talk about during their 2-man mission to the past
First time Steve and Tony interact after Tony calls Steve out on how failing together sucks.
Did Steve and Tony ever talk during those 5 years? If so, what did that look like?
[au] Tony survives, but Steve doesn't know that when he goes back in time. So now Steve is really old and Tony is not.
[au] Tony survives and Steve comes back from returning the stones and they rebuild their relationship
steve + natasha
Awful life at Avengers compound before Ant-Man, basically lots of hurt/comfort with each other
[au] When Steve tells Natasha that maybe they should both move on, he asks her out on a date — it becomes a very sad attempt at moving on, but it's also a sad kind of solace.
steve + bucky
Honestly, they barely got any time back together. Steve and Buck MUST have talked before Steve just decided to go back in the past. Possible convo where he admits he's not coming back, and asking Bucky if he wants to return back to their time with him?
steve + anyone
So ... you can so Mjolnir now?
Conversations with various characters when he returns the stones to their rightful place in the past
Someone insisting on going back in time with Steve, and they return all the stones together and this person convinces Steve to come back (or, is convinced that he really doesn't want to)
shuri + anyone
Rebuilding the world from Wakanda
Meeting the other avengers
One-uping our science bros during reconstruction :D
tony stark (AI) + morgan/anyone
I imagine this will be mostly sass.
And with everyone who is not Morgan, this will basically be him joking about how he's going to live forever.
[ Steve sees the way Tony's smile changes. It's impossible not to see, when you're this close to someone and trying desperately to etch every single detail about them into your mind.
Tony promises though, nonetheless, and Steve nods, even if he's immediately set on making sure Tony never thinks that he'd mind something like that. So he moves one of his hands to Tony's free one and squeezes it for the first time. ]
Tony... [ Steve looks directly into his eyes then, and maneuvers his body a little to prompt Tony into looking back at him. ] I get it. Things like this... they change your life forever. And will keep changing it. But I want to be very clear about this. [ And if Tony hasn't looked at him yet, Steve will wait until he does to continue. ] There's no reason you should ever need to apologize because of your arm. Hell, Tony, you saved the world. You did something that gods could barely do. And lived.
[ He pauses, for a second, as a very, old memory resurfaces and compassion writes itself onto Steve's brow. ]
You were the guy to make the sacrifice play. [ He says it all slowly, just in case Tony needs a moment to remember where it's from. ] To lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you. [ A beat. ] Except, it was the world that crawled over you, Tony. From where I'm sitting... that arm is proof that you're one of the best people I know.
[ Although on most days Tony takes his recovery and the aftermath in stride as much as he can, it's easy when it's just him 'dealing with it,' as he calls it. Sure, Rhodey, Happy, and Pepper had all been there during his stay in Wakanda, they all helped while he was getting back on his feet, but at the end of the day they all had their lives to go back to. He wasn't a burden for them to deal with (although he knows they don't see it as that, he sees it as that).
Now, the last thing that Tony wants is to be that burden for Steve. For him to deal with it - with him - for what's to come. It feels unfair to have him deal with the collateral damage.
As Steve speaks and tries to make eye contact, Tony turns to him. He doesn't expect him to bring up that old memory, and it shows by the way a faint sort of smile crosses his face as he shakes his head slightly, as if to tell him he doesn't have to say that, but he does. And it leaves him speechless for a moment before he leans in and kisses him again as he gives Steve's hand a squeeze.
Pulling back slightly, he stays close enough again to rest his forehead against Steve's for a moment before smiling at him. ]
Thank you. I'll keep that in mind, I promise.
[ It's obvious that Steve's words help, because it's easier to make this promise. ]
...you've got quite the way with words, you know that? You make it very hard to say no to you.
[ That trace of a smile reviving on Tony's face is encouraging to Steve, and when Tony shakes his head in protest, Steve feels a certain swell in his chest. He sees it as an act of humility — that despite all he's done, Tony still doesn't want the credit — and it makes Steve start to fall for him a little harder.
But when Tony truly says nothing for a moment, Steve searches in his eyes for any clues, hoping that he hadn't made things worse, hopeful that he was able to make things better. The kiss, however, both sudden and welcome, blows anything Steve was looking for out of the water. Just like every other time, he relishes it completely, not sure that he ever really wants it to end, and when they breathe again, forehead to forehead, Steve can't stop the soft smile that curls onto his lips.
That smile grows wider when he hears what Tony has to say. ]
So I've been told.
[ By Sam, by Rocket, by Scott. And maybe by Tony once, based on the look on his face before they first traveled back in time.
The smile on Steve's face transforms into a smirk. ]
Guess that means you'll have to be careful. Otherwise, you'll be saying yes — a lot.
[ He lifts his head up then, which has the effect of bringing Tony's with him. As he asks his next question, he interweaves his fingers with Tony's. Another first. ]
[ Steve definitely made things better, and it shows at how the lightness in Tony seems to return. That in its own is almost a miracle, and Tony isn’t oblivious to it. He can’t put into words how much he appreciates Steve’s words, his actions, and he can only hope he has plenty of time to show him how much it means to him while they’re together.
He chuckles, a warm sound that escapes his throat. ]
I don’t know if that’d be such a bad thing.
[ Feeling Steve’s fingers in his make his smile grow, and he can’t help but look down at their hands together for a moment before he turns to Steve. God, he’s loving this so damn much.
With a nod, he stands with him and, as they cross the small distance between where they had been sitting and the tent, he brings Steve’s hand up so he can place a soft kiss against his knuckles. Tony has never been the best at relationships, hasn’t had the best luck with them, but here in their private corner of the world, the kiss is a silent promise that he’s in this for as long as Steve will have him. Their timing may have been awful in the past for them to realize everything they’re feeling right now, but he’s done wasting time.
Once they get to the tent, he follows Steve’s lead on how to properly get in and, although this is most definitely not something he has ever experienced, he can’t help the huge smile on his face as they get settled in. ]
[ When Tony looks down at their hands, Steve's eyes follow his, and he smiles as he squeezes Tony's hand again, just to see what it looks like when their fingers are weaved together.
It looks and feels like they fit together perfectly.
As they walk, however, Steve feels Tony lifting his hand and he looks over just fast enough to see the kiss on his knuckles just as he feels it. It makes his heart swell almost to the point of bursting. God, he wonders, how can I be falling for someone this fast? Ever since Peggy, he's worked so hard to move on, to find somebody, just as she wanted for him. But that's how every relationship Steve's been in — if they even lasted long enough to be called that — has felt: like work. Even with Sharon, Steve could tell that his heart was never truly in it. But with Tony, for the past few weeks, and especially now? He can't imagine this... exuberant feeling could ever end.
When they get to the tent, Steve's instructions are pretty simple. Use the zipper to let yourself in or out. Leave your shoes outside, or pushed up against the edge of the tent on the inside. And then the suddenly exciting part: roll out your sleeping bag, side-by-side by mine. He shows Tony, too, that if he wants, he can unzip the entire sleeping bag and give himself twice as much space on the ground — until he's ready to fall asleep. ]
Not unless the weather suddenly changes. [ Steve gives a serious answer, but then he teases back: ] Don't worry. If it collapses, I'll protect you.
[ As they walk, Tony’s going through his own moments of amazement at the fact that he can be feeling so strongly for someone this quickly. In the end, though, he knows that it’s not necessarily quick. If he’s honest with himself, all this has been building for a while. All those visits, their talks, their meals together... They’re getting to know each other in a different level, but Steve isn’t a stranger.
Hell, in some ways he knows him and understands him better than some people he knows. It’s comforting that he knows what he has lived through, to the point that he’s now less hesitant to let him in with what he has left to deal with. Even their past strife and fights had made them see sides of themselves that very few people actually know about, and now they’re here. Holding hands, as if they don’t have a care in the world anymore.
As Steve gives his instructions, he listens with a sort of admiration and affection on his face that he can’t quite hide. Honestly, just watching him right now makes him happy. He follows the instructions as well as he can, and accepts Steve’s help whenever it looks like he might need it, and once they’re comfortably inside Tony grins. ]
You’ll protect me, huh? Okay, then the tent can fall if it wants to.
[ He leans in for another kiss, slow and sweet as he savors the moment. When he pulls back, he smiles and explains: ] Gotta celebrate being in a new space together.
[ Tony's right. Years ago, he told Steve he doesn't trust a man without a dark side. Steve had told him in return that maybe he just hadn't seen it yet. And now, light or dark, they've seen more shades of each other than others normally see in a lifetime. So yeah, Tony's right. It feels fast and it is fast in many ways, but it's also been a very, very long time coming.
As Steve talks, the interest and affection that Tony projects make him blush a few times, even if Steve just pushes forward with a bashful smile. Before he knows it though, everything's laid out and they can see shadows from the fire dancing on their tent flap. And then suddenly, it really is just the two of them.
When Tony leans in for a kiss, Steve can't welcome it more, and he relishes how slow it is. Now that they're away from the fire, he can hear the sound of Tony breathing against him and when Tony starts to pull back, Steve is reluctant to let go. He does, however, eventually give in, and he's glad he does because when Tony says a kiss christens them being in a new place together, Steve can only smile. ]
Good thing we're going to a lot of new places soon.
[ Steve pulls Tony in again then, and this time, it really feels like he has no intention of letting go. One hand wraps around Tony's back, careful not to jostle his sling, and Steve's other hand makes its way to Tony's jawline, cupping it carefully as his fingers feel the bristles of Tony's goatee. Both of his hands seems to push and pull Tony closer to him with every kiss. ]
[ There’s something beautiful about the way that Steve blushes and he gets that bashful smile of his. Tony tries to not make it obvious how much he likes it, mainly to not make him uncomfortable, but it’s a little hard. Especially when he can hardly look away. ]
Yeah, I think we need to make this a tradition whenever we get somewhere new.
[ Especially with how many new places they want to explode. Tony had already been excited about their plans, but this just adds a new layer of excitement on top of it all.
As Steve pulls him in, Tony gladly melts into his touch as he kisses him back. Like Steve, he doesn’t want any of this to stop. He wants this to last forever, and as he grasps his shirt and pulls him close as he kisses him deeper, he wants him to know just that. ]
[ Out here, under the night sky, there's barely any sense of time. All that Steve knows is that it's dark and that maybe an hour, maybe two, have passed since he first started kissing Tony inside their tent together. In reality, at least three hours have already gone by.
Even in his short term memory, it feels like they went slow — that they stayed upright and melted into one another for forever — but time has a weird way of stretching when you're completely consumed by someone else. In actuality, it took only about one more minute before Steve leaned back or Tony nudged forward, and before they knew it, Tony was on top of Steve, their bodies aligning perfectly and throughout the rest of the night, as long as Tony didn't try to get off, Steve's arms held and helped to keep him there.
And now, every time Steve takes a breath, he moves Tony's entire body up and down with him. The tent is starting to heat up, for no other reason than the fact that the two of them — and Steve, with the serum coursing through his veins — were using up all the oxygen and generating a lot of heat. But without skipping a beat, Steve takes only one of his hands away, searching above and behind him for the tent zipper before he drags it up just a foot and breeze of cold, fresh air enters the tent.
When they both feel it, it's as if breathing takes on a whole new meaning, and Steve just finds himself chuckling into Tony before he finally breaks away to get some air.
Never, in a million years, had Steve ever thought that it would be Tony. They'd had so many obstacles between them. And yet, here they are, so happy, so breathless, so spent and yet both wanting so much more.
It's been a long time since he's been this excited in his life. And despite how much he isn't willing to admit it right now, Steve feels like this... this has to be it. Nothing could beat this. ]
[ It’s easy to lose track of time when all Tony wants to do is to continue to kiss him, to kiss him deeper, to memorize the way he feels against him. When he ends up on top of Steve, it helps that Steve is able to hold him in place and Tony doesn’t have to wonder if he’s too heavy for him, or if he gets tired of holding him up. Tony tries to use his arm to every once in a while lift his own weight so that Steve won’t have to do it alone, but even then, the serum guarantees that Tony can let go so he can hold onto him instead.
When the air seems to literally run out of the tent and Steve needs to open up the flap, Tony’s breathless but it’s clear from the delighted grin on his face that he’s completely fine with this. That this has been the best use of their time, obviously, just because of how happy they both feel right now. ]
God, you’re beautiful. [ He presses a kiss against his jaw before kissing him again. It doesn’t last as long, since he’s still catching his breath, but he just couldn’t help it. ]
I think I’m sold on the whole tent thing with this, by the way. [ He smirks, mischievously. ] You may just have to make out with me more if I start having second thoughts about it.
[ Steve is already breathless when Tony gives him that compliment, and the complete blush of red that rises from his neck to his cheeks is immediate. The only saving grace that its nearly pitch dark outside — the fire had gone out long ago — with the sole exception of some beams of moonlight.
But Tony follows it up with another kiss and Steve just finds himself even more out of breath as he watches the gorgeous, brilliant man on top of him. ]
Oh, yeah. Did I not mention that this— [ He pushes his body up and presses up against Tony for another kiss. ] —is a regular camping, tent activity? [ There's a big, satisfied grin on Steve's face.
His hand lets go of the zipper though and for the first time, Steve doesn't return his hand to Tony's back. Instead, with some hesitance, mostly because he wants to savor this, he rakes his fingers through Tony's hair. ]
You did not. But you’re forgiven ‘cause it’s a pretty damn good surprise.
[ Tony’s damn sure that the grin on his face is never going to go away, especially when Steve kisses him again.
But then he follows that up by running his fingers through his hair, and Tony closes his eyes as he does that, as if enjoying the sensation of it. To the point that he tilts his head a little towards where his touch is, as if to ensure himself that this won’t stop just yet. His hair has always been a weakness of his and, considering he looks almost like a cat enjoying being petted right about now, it’s probably more than a little bit obvious. ]
And you’re wonderful. [ The words come out in almost a sort of purr before he leans in and presses a kiss against the side of Steve’s neck. It’s quick - he doesn’t want him to think he’s pressuring him into anything, but he couldn’t help it. ]
[ The first thing Steve notices is how soft Tony's hair is and how easy it is for his fingers to move through it. He smiles when he sees the way Tony reacts — it's incredibly endearing — and when his fingers have run their course, Steve starts again. He could never imagine that he could do anything that would satisfy Tony this much, and the fact that it's happening makes Steve want to do it more. Frankly, given the way Tony's practically purring, Steve doesn't plan on stopping, and if Tony falls asleep like this, Steve would be more than happy to hold him there all night long.
That little whisper though, followed by a quick kiss on his neck makes Steve gasp just a little. It's quiet enough, but given that Tony's literally laying on him, it won't be hard to hear. No one's ever kissed him there before and the touch of Tony's lips on his skin sends an electric tingle down and through his body. And well, Steve's starting to be extremely grateful that while their eyes had adjusted long ago to be able to see each other, it's still extremely hard to see the color on his cheeks. ]
[ It probably is a good thing that they’re there in the dark, because Tony has a feeling he has an awfully ridiculous look on his face. Considering how detached he was from the world the last few years, and his break up with Pepper seven years ago, Tony hasn’t exactly had this level of affection in a while.
That gasp distracts him, though, and Tony can’t help but grin. He adjusts his position slightly so that his bad arm won’t get caught between him and Steve, and once he’s positioned better he settles against him. Not to sleep, exactly - at least not yet - but just so they can enjoy each other for a moment.
And, well, it’s also so he can be in a better position since he just has to tilt his head slightly and he can press a kiss against Steve’s neck again. ]
[ On the other hand, Steve's last moment of affection wasn't too long ago — but it was more pained than affectionate. One day soon, he thinks, he'll tell Tony about how he nearly never came back after returning the stones. But also, too, about how he finally went back to see Peggy, and while she finally got that dance he'd promised, she'd told him soon after that she was seeing someone already. He could see in her eyes that if he chose to stay, she'd always pick him. But in that moment, Steve truly understood that he no longer belonged back in time — and that he'd have to find his happiness here, in the present.
And god is he grateful that instead of upending Peggy's life, he decided to come back. Because with each stroke of his fingers, the more Steve finds himself exploring, tucking a few strands of hair behind each of Tony's ears, only to find some of them emerging again regardless. His fingers follow too, to where Tony's hair meets his neck, and he plays with a couple curls that are still new and haven't been elongated with length and time.
Even the way Tony settles against him feels perfect — like there's nowhere else he'd rather be than beneath Tony, right here. And there's nowhere he'd rather Tony be, then right on top of him.
It's silly though, given how much kissing has been happening, that Steve doesn't expect Tony to kiss him on the neck again. But this time, when it does happen, the tilt of Tony's head gives him some warning and instead of gasping, Steve just takes a quick breath in, and the rise of his chest raises some of Tony with him. ]
Yeah. [ He answers, just barely, because he's trying very hard to sound normal. But truth is, he doesn't feel normal. He feels something that he's never really felt before. ] It's... great. [ There's just a little hint of hesitation in Steve's voice, but there's a lot of pleasure too, even if he's trying to hide it. ]
[ God, he thinks. It's so nice to feel the way that Steve's fingers run through his hair. It feels like there's a smile on his face that is now permanently affixed to his face. He loves being able to hear his heartbeat underneath his ear. The way that his breathing makes him go up and down along with the way his chest moves. It's so comforting, so perfect, that for a moment he just stays there, quiet and savoring the moment.
But then Steve says that yes, it's okay for him to kiss his neck, and that it's great, and it gives Tony other ideas. Ideas that he's morbidly thankful to have one arm out of commission, because he already knows it would be hard to contain himself otherwise. He just wants to roam Steve's body, get to know every corner of him that he can. As it is, his hand moves along his side, close to the hem of his shirt and by pure accident (he thinks) he feels his fingers brushing softly against Steve's side as he kisses his neck again. It probably also doesn't help that the kiss is slow, lingering as he breathes him in.
When it clicks what he did, he pauses for a moment as if to test for reaction. If Steve doesn't seem to mind it, he'll continue, but if not he'l just stop and stay where he's at. Either way, he's perfectly happy with either option. ]
[ It's not that Steve is woefully naive, he does know how most of this is supposed to work. But the difference between knowing it and experiencing it is dramatically different (apparently). When he feels that lingering kiss and the heat of Tony's breath, paired with a new sensation right around his abs, Steve's mouth opens like he's gasping again, but this time, no sound comes out. Instead, what Tony will be able to hear is how Steve's heart rate is speeding up.
Steve looks down at Tony then, his blue eyes excited and scared and curious to know what lies at the end of this tunnel. And even in this lackluster light, he sees again how attractive Tony is, and part of him just wants to pull Tony up and kiss until the sun rises. But then he feels another one of those kisses on his neck and a brush of Tony's finger against his bare skin, and before he can stop it, Steve lets out a small moan. ]
[ Tony's ready to stop if needed, but when Steve doesn't pull away or asks him to stop, he sees it as an invitation. Of course, he's ready to stop at any minute, and he tries to be as aware of Steve's reaction through the darkness just by how he's breathing and how his body feels.
That's why, when he hears that moan, Tony becomes a little bit more bold. He slips his hand under Steve's shirt, feeling the way his body feels. How warm he feels, and it's as if it sends a surge of electricity along his body. Tony's breathing gets a little heavier as he can feel his body reacting to how Steve is reacting, and he kisses his neck again. ]
Ha- [ It comes out more breathy than anything else, when he feels Tony's hand inside his shirt, and suddenly, Steve knows he doesn't just want ... whatever's about to happen to just happen to him. Instead, he starts to match some of Tony's movements, even if he does it much more cautiously. One of his hands is already tracing along the edge of Tony's shirt, and when Steve feels Tony's next kiss on his neck, one of his hands slips instinctively beneath the fabric and his fingers press into Tony back as he moans again. ]
You're incredible. [ He repeats, in a whisper that evaporates back into silence as soon as he says it. ] I did already tell you that, right?
[ The sensation of Steve’s hand slipping under his shirt is a pleasant surprise, and Tony can’t help but let out a quiet moan of approval under his breath as he grins. ]
You did. [ It’s said just as quietly, followed but another kiss. One that lasts a little longer than the last. ] But it’s okay.
[ He traces his fingers up along his side, memorizing the way they move or tense or relax, depending on what he’s doing. ]
I think you’re fascinating. [ He looks up at Steve, before lifting his head up enough to be able to reach for a kiss on his lips. This time, it’s not slow or lingering; it’s hungry, deeper as if to encourage Steve to continue doing what he’s doing. ]
[ Steve pretty sure that these kisses are going to be the death of him. He'd never even known that part of his neck was sensitive in this way and that with just a little bit of pressure, Tony could make him feel all types of things.
Beneath his shirt, Tony's fingers will also be able to find out a lot of things about his body. Steve's skin is completely smooth, no scars, no hair, nothing but beautiful skin paired with the dips and valleys created by his muscles. And yeah, there are ... a lot of muscles.
That final hungry kiss on the lips though, makes Steve realize that maybe tonight, he and Tony might take this further than he ever could've predicted. Because god, Steve feels like he just wants to be as close as humanly possible to Tony — he wants him. And as the kiss gets deeper and hungry, both of Steve's hands now, have found their way beneath Tony's shirt, just above his waist. He's nowhere near the sling — Steve's still rational enough to pay attention to that — but he's holding onto Tony now in a way that's much stronger than before. ]
[ The sensation of Steve’s skin and muscles, paired with the way he’s holding him, is revving up his desire for Steve in a way that he hadn’t expected. Or, rather, that he didn’t think they’d get to explore here, of all places.
He can’t help it, though. As their kiss deepens, and Steve’s hold on him tightens, Tony’s hips seem to even have a mind of their own as he tries to press himself closer against Steve. As if this isn’t already close enough. As if he needs more.
It’s to the point that he doesn’t even think about his arm, or the sling, or where Steve is. His desire for him is even overriding the hesitancy he would be feeling in this moment at the idea that Steve could see or feel the way his skin is scarred on his right side, or feel the old stab wound that Thanos had done on Titan. Right now he’s more interested in Steve, in how he feels, in how he wants him so badly that it’s driving him crazy. ]
[ Tony's hips pressing into him immediately releases a moan from Steve's lips, even if he was doing his best to hold it in. And if there was any doubt before that Steve wants this, it's put to rest by how Steve follows suit, holding Tony's hips against his own as he presses up. And by then, both of them can really feel how much they want each other.
Steve can tell too, that with all the ways Tony has progressed with him tonight, he's done it in a way where Steve could've easily said no, let's stay here, and Tony would've been okay with it. He appreciates it, a lot, but right now, Steve feels a heat inside himself that he doesn't want to put out. He wants... ]
Tony— [ He whispers, neck still tilted up, eyes still closed. ] I—... want this. I want you. [ Steve sound so breathless then, but he wants to give permission, if that's at all what Tony is looking for, and when Steve opens his eyes, it's to look down at Tony to see if he wants the same. ]
[ The way Steve breathes and lets out those moans make Tony breathless in the best way possible. Especially as he feels the way he presses his own hips up, and Tony’s kiss becomes almost desperate as if begging him for more.
The moment Steve speaks, though, Tony pulls back. He’s ready to stop if needed, and for a moment he thinks that this is it. That he hit the limit, and he’d be understanding about it if that was the case. It shows in how he tries to manage the way he’s breathing at once, as if to reassure Steve that he’ll be fine if this is where it all stops for tonight.
The request to stop doesn’t come, though. It’s the exact opposite, and Tony can’t help but blink in surprise at first. The surprise doesn’t last for long, though, and Tony leans in to kiss him. ]
I want you, too. God, I want you so badly.
[ He presses another kiss against his lips, and shifts his position so that he can reach for the button and zipper of Steve’s pants. ]
[ Steve can feel his body literally longing for Tony's when he pulls back. He sees that surprised look on Tony's face and for a second, Steve wonders if he jumped the gun. Did he just give consent to something Tony doesn't want? Wasn't looking for? Oh god—
But Tony's words and especially that kiss shuts up the thoughts in Steve's mind and when Tony tells Steve he's all his, the grin that spreads on Steve's face is undeniable. At that moment, somehow, Steve feels like he's fallen so hard, and so fast for a man he's known for the better part of his life now. And he couldn't be happier. ]
I'm yours too, Tony. Completely— [ is all he manages to get out before he feels Tony's hands get inside his zipper, and even through the fabric of his boxers, the friction of Tony's hand against him is enough to render him speechless. ]

Come into the tent with me?
[ The marshmallows have been long forgotten. ]
no subject
This thing isn’t going to collapse on us, is it?
[ He’s teasing, and it shows in his voice. ]
no subject
If it collapses, I'll protect you.
no subject
When he pulls back, he smiles and explains: ] Gotta celebrate being in a new space together.
no subject
no subject
Yeah, I think we need to make this a tradition whenever we get somewhere new.
[ Especially with how many new places they want to explode. Tony had already been excited about their plans, but this just adds a new layer of excitement on top of it all.
As Steve pulls him in, Tony gladly melts into his touch as he kisses him back. Like Steve, he doesn’t want any of this to stop. He wants this to last forever, and as he grasps his shirt and pulls him close as he kisses him deeper, he wants him to know just that. ]
no subject
no subject
When the air seems to literally run out of the tent and Steve needs to open up the flap, Tony’s breathless but it’s clear from the delighted grin on his face that he’s completely fine with this. That this has been the best use of their time, obviously, just because of how happy they both feel right now. ]
God, you’re beautiful. [ He presses a kiss against his jaw before kissing him again. It doesn’t last as long, since he’s still catching his breath, but he just couldn’t help it. ]
I think I’m sold on the whole tent thing with this, by the way. [ He smirks, mischievously. ] You may just have to make out with me more if I start having second thoughts about it.
no subject
You're... incredible.
no subject
no subject
That little whisper though, followed by a quick kiss on his neck makes Steve gasp just a little. It's quiet enough, but given that Tony's literally laying on him, it won't be hard to hear. No one's ever kissed him there before and the touch of Tony's lips on his skin sends an electric tingle down and through his body. And well, Steve's starting to be extremely grateful that while their eyes had adjusted long ago to be able to see each other, it's still extremely hard to see the color on his cheeks. ]
no subject
That gasp distracts him, though, and Tony can’t help but grin. He adjusts his position slightly so that his bad arm won’t get caught between him and Steve, and once he’s positioned better he settles against him. Not to sleep, exactly - at least not yet - but just so they can enjoy each other for a moment.
And, well, it’s also so he can be in a better position since he just has to tilt his head slightly and he can press a kiss against Steve’s neck again. ]
Is this okay?
no subject
no subject
no subject
Steve looks down at Tony then, his blue eyes excited and scared and curious to know what lies at the end of this tunnel. And even in this lackluster light, he sees again how attractive Tony is, and part of him just wants to pull Tony up and kiss until the sun rises. But then he feels another one of those kisses on his neck and a brush of Tony's finger against his bare skin, and before he can stop it, Steve lets out a small moan. ]
no subject
That's why, when he hears that moan, Tony becomes a little bit more bold. He slips his hand under Steve's shirt, feeling the way his body feels. How warm he feels, and it's as if it sends a surge of electricity along his body. Tony's breathing gets a little heavier as he can feel his body reacting to how Steve is reacting, and he kisses his neck again. ]
no subject
You're incredible. [ He repeats, in a whisper that evaporates back into silence as soon as he says it. ] I did already tell you that, right?
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
I’m yours, Steve. I’m all yours.
you should feel free to montage a bit if you want
But Tony's words and especially that kiss shuts up the thoughts in Steve's mind and when Tony tells Steve he's all his, the grin that spreads on Steve's face is undeniable. At that moment, somehow, Steve feels like he's fallen so hard, and so fast for a man he's known for the better part of his life now. And he couldn't be happier. ]
I'm yours too, Tony. Completely— [ is all he manages to get out before he feels Tony's hands get inside his zipper, and even through the fabric of his boxers, the friction of Tony's hand against him is enough to render him speechless. ]
